In every TV show about a detective who can solve crimes better than everyone because of some ability they have, the female detective who works alongside the 'special' detective is always one of the most beautiful woman you'll ever see in your entire life.

the amount of times i recognise reused sets on tv shows just keeps increasing. this bowling alley in bones is the same one used in 911 when it was still on fox. i have also noticed before that in lucifer carols apartment is the same as bucks from 911. and in the show scorpion, their headquarters is in a warehouse that was used in 911 lone star as their fire station. another is in an episode or two of the mentalist theres a building that was used in 911 at the aged care facility with the std outbreak. theres way more but it happens more often than you think

The pilot of Elementary is so good. I’m sitting here with a Cheshire grin on my face. And I love love that the ended with Elvis Costello’s Watching the Detectives! First of all because I LOVE that song but then I found out it’s also a reference to a straight-to-DVD flop Lucy Liu made called the same thing! I’m so happy to have a new murder mystery series in my life, it’s a good time.

to me the last episode of the mentalist is one of the best, most well-crafted endings of a show I've ever seen

very satisfying, especially the ending
